Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga is a traditional form of yoga that focuses on physical postures (asanas), breath control (pranayama), and meditation to bring balance to the body and mind. The word "Hatha" comes from the Sanskrit words "Ha" (meaning sun) and "Tha" (meaning moon), symbolizing the balance of opposing energies, such as strength and flexibility, activity and relaxation. Hatha yoga is often a gentle, slow-paced form of yoga, making it accessible to beginners, but it can be as physically challenging as any other style of yoga.
